It reminds me of something the poet David Whyte said - that we are the only species that has a choice to opt out of engagement with the (and here I struggle to find the words) what we call “nature” or “the environment.” As if it’s separate from us. (And having written that, I’m suspicious of anything that starts, “we are the only species that…”) 😂

Your opening paragraph achieves it - the waking world - then shares the communing with us, unfurling "details"; moments of our lives held up in the soft morning sun.
