Yikes. Thanks. I always try to catch my misspells, but this got past me.

For us old timers, this is deja vu all over gain. We called ourselves conservationists and represented all sides of the political spectrum. Then in 2006, Al Gore in his movie, "An Inconvenient Truth", claimed the science is settled, and any criticism is immoral, a crime against humanity. Since then, we've had almost 20 years of climate wars about CO2 emissions with both sides claiming the morality of their side and of bashing the other. With the resulting binary claims and understanding about climate, promoting love of the environment and her critters has been neglected, and replaced by the ugly standoff of political and media sensationalism about CO2 concerns and almost nothing else.

Thanks for commenting, Doug. I'm an old timer too, and that's a pretty good summation. It's not that CO2 doesn't matter, but that it's been grossly reduced to an almost comic book narrative. In the meantime, living things and places have almost completely vanished from political consciousness. There's a little left, and I hope to help speed its return.
