I had the great pleasure of joining poets Joanna Lilley and Rita Wong, and poet/moderator Carla Stein, for a panel discussion on the role of poetry in the ecological crisis that is also a climate crisis. Unfortunately, my camera was not working, so I spoke from a black box, but the audio came through and that’s what matters. I’m introduced at 15:05 minutes, but I hope you will start at the beginning to hear the lovely work of Joanna Lilley, and stay after to hear the powerful Rita Wong and the discussion that follows.
And if you enjoy this offering, please consider a paid subscription. It’s only through such generosity that I’m able to do this work of bringing living things and their role in the climate out from the shadows and into the climate conversation.
Very good Rob
