I’ve been travelling the last month, returning from a family reunion in Colorado, so my posting has been sparse. I’m working on a post concerning the state of the forests I observed along the way, how heavily they have been logged, and how the continual removal of large trees from the forest might be affecting their ability to withstand fire.
In the meantime, here is a little video of a couple cedar giants I came across in the middle of an otherwise heavily harvested area. Why were these two trees spared? Who knows, but I speculate a little here.
The whole forest is betrothed, brings tears to my eyes! Thank you.
Really beautiful, and true. Thank you.
